The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services – known as the CCIG –, a private and independent organisation, works towards a strong economy, conducive to local businesses sustaining their activities long-term.
This translates into a four-fold mission for the CCIG:
- To advocate for economic and political framework conditions which enhance business performance also from a social and environmental point of view.
- To promote its members by facilitating business opportunities.
- To support its members by providing services which will enable them to make progress in the fields of sustainability and digitalisation, among others.
- To constitute a model of societal responsibility by incorporating good practices within CCIG.
The CCIG speaks for businesses by taking positions on Cantonal and Federal legislative consultations and by formulating proposals affecting the framework conditions, often in the context of voting campaigns.
The CCIG sums up its activity in the motto: Working for a Strong Economy – Connecting Businesses.
